Timepiece Competition

There are ten entries. Entry Number 4 and 5 are the novice, so please reply to this with your choice of 

1,2,3,  6,7,8, 9 or 10 for the seniors

4 or 5 for the junior

So all you need to do is give the two numbers and we will do the rest.

  5. Well, my goodness gracious, the scores, how exciting (sorry, had a Stephen Fry / QI moment there).
    Not all the scores are in yet, but so far the novices are tied (and got loads of votes) and there is a winner in the seniors (but only leading by one point)
    So if you have not voted yet then please do so soon.

    • I don’t know if there really is a rule about not voting if you have an entry. It might be just me and my Yorkshire moral compass. I just thought that was the advice when I joined the club. Tell you what Jake – you vote for mine and I’ll vote for yours 😉

    • Your right to vote is important, and every member should vote, although the basic rules are that you never vote for your own piece. If twenty members submitted an item, and the same twenty turned out for the club night, and you were not allowed to vote if you submitted an item, then everybody would score zero as no votes could be cast, and we would have no winner. If one person scored twenty then we know the person voted for themselves. If everyone voted for themselves then everyone would score one, and we would have no winner. I say we are all allowed to vote, but don’t have to, so either vote for another member, or abstain from voting. The club will know if anyone cheats.
