I hope you are all happy healthy and woodturning.

It is time to make, or submit a couple of photographs of what you have made for the monthly meeting’s competition (sending me the image by email, or uploading it yourself to the club web site on or before 13th October) then at 8pm, when you would normally have a coffee and examine the entries at the workshop you can go onto the web site and look at the images while having a coffee at home, at 9pm when the meeting ends and the competition winner is announced I will post who the winner of this competition is. 

The competition item for  October is ‘A Christmas Tree Decoration, either for the tree or table, or maybe for the window? 

One or maybe two photographs of your entry will suffice, and if you take more I reserve the right to choose the best one or two, and also to crop or adjust the image to show it off to it’s best.

Turning Thursday sessions are well attended but there are often spaces for  ‘Turning Tuesday’  with Bill. These workshop sessions are in a very restricted and controlled manner and are not a Club Night but a ‘Turning Tuesday’. If you are attending the workshop as one of the 6 booked places you must have  phoned Bill to reserve a place.
