It gives some information, but not too much so that the seriously  competitive members start making their competition entries now.

I have recently inherited a fair number of turning blanks (spindle & bowl). Some are labelled but I’m trying to identify the rest. If anyone with experience of the types of wood that were available in the 1990’s could please spare me an hour or so (in return for coffee, biscuits and maybe some rare wood!) I would be really grateful.
