Hi All,
Today. 5th April, is the last time I will be opening the workshop on Wednesday afternoons for the current season. As you know these openings were to enable members to use the workshop facilities without having to drive home in the dark. Hence them being available from October to Easter.
Time now to think about gardening, decorating and holidaying as well as turning.
Enjoy the summer and the Wednesday afternoon openings will be reintroduced in October.
Best wishes,
David

Hi David,
Thanks for doing the Wednesday opening – it was very useful for me. Sorry I couldn’t make the last session – my car was off the road. I tried to add a comment here, but couldn’t log on, until a eureka moment where I realised the site wants a 12 character password, which is longer than all my other passwords. So i had made a new one and promptly forgot it. Doh!

Sorry to hear about the bowl re-organisation mystery. Grrr!
On behalf of all the members who attended your Wednesday afternoon sessions THANK YOU. We appreciate your time and travel to open up and share your wisdom in such a calm and tolerant manner. It is great to be able to come, during daylight, in the winter months, to a smaller group and therefore turn in a safer environment with a larger choice of lathes. We thank you, and Judith for letting you come out all winter to support the club in this way. Yes, now is the time to get back to the garden, forest, family and holidays.
Many thanks for your complimentary comments Rolf ~ but you have not answered my basic question ~ “Where are our bowls?”
Grump! Grump!
