We're in Galloway and we turn wood

Wednesday Afternoon Workshop Opening, 1.00 – 3.00pm

Dear All,

In view of the current situation, I will open the workshop on Wednesday 18th March from 1.00 – 3.00pm this week for the last time until the current Covid 19 crisis is over.

I will be happy and pleased to resume opening once we all feel it is safe to do so.

Do keep turning in your own workshops, (we all need the practice), and please keep an eye on the club website for notice of when Wednesday afternoon openings will start again.

Look after yourselves and keep well.

Best wishes

We are all grateful to David for opening so often on Wednesday afternoons. This service has been very helpful to lots of members, especially those that have have seen more winters than most. David is being sensible, he and Judith live in a very beautiful part of Dumfries and Galloway and will keep their heads down there for a wee while, and will be back when the world has come to its senses again. I was down their way today, and spoke to them both, they are well, and intend to stay that way. We will continue to operate as normal at Castle Douglas, and the demo by Gary Lowe, and masterclass is still on, and Gary is still happy to come. I believe our precautions are sufficient, and under constant review.
