Steve Young, David Simpson, Mich Schofield, Arthur Young, Rolf Buwert all tie for first place, which clearly demonstrates the high quality and difficulty in choosing between.
Andrew Hall wins the novice class.
Well done everyone, each entry, without exception, is a fine piece of work, so thank you everybody for your entries. Mick will add your scores and at the end of the year they will be totted up and the trophy awarded so even if you never win in any single month you may still win if you win points every month, so keep entering folks.

Joy. After a last minute vote and a recalculation it seems that the six-way tie has been whittled to a joint pair of winners David Simpson and Ken Coates, well done to you both. Andrew Hall remains the clear winner among the Juniors.
We don’t normally have a July competition because members are on holiday and away from home – it looks like we will still be ‘at home’ for most of July so it might be nice to have another competition (give folks like me a chance to pick up a few more points and catch up on Mick) How about making something on the theme of ‘LIGHT’ because the Summer Solstice is this weekend and the ‘nights will fair be drawing in’ from July onwards – therefore interpret the theme any way you like, moonlight, starlight, sunlight, electric light paraffin light … whatever you think fits. I particularly liker Christine and Jake’s take on the mushroom theme (even though they did not pick up that many points they were inspired pieces). Let me know if this is a daft idea, otherwise we will go ahead.
